Leeds referee Jonathan Moss is the man in the middle for Saturday’s League Two fixture at Grimsby.

Mr Moss, a primary school Headteacher in Halifax, is in his fifth season as a league referee and is taking charge of his ninth Dale game.

We last saw him at the JPT tie at Scunthorpe last November, while his most recent match at Spotland was for the 1-0 defeat by Wycombe 13 months ago.

Jonathan’s first match at this level was Shrewsbury v Dale on the opening day of the 2005/06 campaign, while his six visits to Spotland have included friendlies against Manchester City in 2006 and Bolton last year.

So far this season, Mr Moss has refereed 10 games, showing 26 yellow cards and two red. His most recent fixture was Peterborough v Nottingham Forest a fortnight ago, while next Tuesday he is in the middle at Middlesbrough v Derby in the Championship.
