TRANSFER: Huseklepp move relies on resolving transfer triangle

Erik Huseklepp's return to Brann Bergen relies on the Norwegian club, Pompey and Bari coming to an agreement over the payment of trasnfer fees.

Brann have pretty much agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old striker, but resolving a complex transfer triangle between the clubs is proving more challenging.

Brann sold Huseklepp to Bari 18 months ago and then the Italian club sold him on to Portsmouth in August 2011 on their relegation from Serie A.

According to the Norwegian press, the three clubs need to agree a complicated series of payment deferrals to allow the transfer to go ahead. Negotiations are on-going, but no agreement has been reach yet and there is a risk they might not succeed.

'We have a good dialogue with Huseklepp's agent, and of course Erik himself. As of today there is nothing more has happened in this case. It is a complicated process that clubs must come to an agreement, ' said Rolf Magne Walstad, Brann's sporting director.

Huseklepp is adamant Brann are is first choice, despite interest from other Norwegian clubs, France and the Championship in England. Huseklepp spent the end of last season on loan at Birmingham.
