Dale have been in pre-season friendly action after the washouts in Accrington and Austria.

Last week, Dale beat a Blackburn Rovers side 1-0 at Spotland with Joe Thompson grabbing the winner for Dale. It was a game in which both sides played diferent sides in both halves, with all the trialists playing a part. Highlights from that game can be viewed here c/o YouTube.

It was the same scoreline but in reverse at the weekend, when Dale took on Championship side Hull City at Spotland. The winners came away as 1-0 winners with Robert Koren scoring with a long range effort.

Finally, Dale picked up another 1-0 victory on Tuesday night at Marine. The winning goal came courtesy of trialist Danny Johnson in a game that was cut short due to floodlight issues.
