Swansea City have a date with destiny as Yeovil Town arrive at the Liberty Stadium - Planet Swans previews the match

Well, ladies and gents, the good news is that we don't and we are already a Championship club.   Well, we will be in August anyway after we have completed the small matter of our last three games of the season.

And the first of those could secure the league title with a victory over Yeovil at the Liberty in front of a sell out crowd - potentially the highest crowd in the stadium's football history.  After seven days of mass hysteria of events in a sealed courtroom somewhere we now get on with what we really do understand - football.

And it will of course be a chance to properly welcome home those who sealed promotion last weekend and the chance to show our appreciation for what they have achieved this season.  The season's opening goal has been achieved with three games to spare and we can appreciate that and bask in the glory that, for once, it isn't going down to the wire for us.

Three points this afternoon will see a fourth league title arriving in Swansea and the first in the third tier of English football for almost fifty years.   It will also push the club to the brink of the ninety point barrier and - somewhat strangely - provide a first league win at home in five games as the Swans have stuttered a little at home after such an impressive run until defeat by Millwall.

And whilst silverware will not be presented this afternoon, a victory will set up the real Championship party against Orient next weekend as we say goodbye to League One football at the Liberty.

Roberto Martinez has some selection headaches for the game as he welcomes back Garry Monk and Angel Rangel as possibilities to start leaving him close to a full strength side to select from.   I suspect that Monk will need to make do with a place on the bench although there may be a temptation to rest Dennis Lawrence at the end of a long season, giving Monk the chance to line up alongside Ashley Williams.   If Monk comes in then I can see Rangel coming in as well but with no Monk you would assume that Alan Tate retains his place at right back.   In all, this may have a familiar look about it come 3pm this afternoon

Striker Lloyd Owusu is a major doubt for Yeovil but Hungarian winger Zoltan Stieber (foot) could feature after returning to training on Thursday.

Matthew Rose (thigh) and Paul Warne (metatarsal) are set to miss out for the trip to the Liberty Stadium.

After a couple of poor results at home I am sure the side will want to look to leave the Liberty in style this season in the two remaining home games and I can't see beyond a Swans victory this afternoon.  A party atmosphere, loads of Jacks in the ground and the Swans to turn on the style.  3-1 Swansea.

Paddy Power says: The Swans are, as you would expect, clear favourites for this game at 8-15 with the draw at 11-4 and Yeovil the way outsiders of the trio of possible results at 4-1.  There isn't much value in backing a Swans win so maybe you want something in the scoreline and there is a tradition of games like this ending in a reasonable victory for the side chasing silverware and you can back the Swans at 10-1 to win 3-0 or 25-1 if you fancy them to grab four without reply.  You can view all our markets on this game by clicking here

So finally its about the Swans again this afternoon and with a huge following lets really get behind us and push them all the way to the Championship with some real Swansea support.   The Jack Army is Championship bound.  Who are we?
