Stuart Becomes A Chairboy

Home > Story Index >Roberts To Sign At Wycombe

Sanchez, addressing their AGM said "He's one for the future and one that will grow with the team. He'll give us a bit of pace and bit of width".
This news is a blow for Swansea fans angry at the way that Tony Petty has handled the club in the last week or so but no-one can possibly blame Stuart for taking an offer when it is put to him. My viewpoint is that he was shafted by previous owners with regards to his contract and I personally wish him all the best in his future which I am sure that we will keep an eye on closely.
Wycombe initially showed an interest in Stu before he went on trial at Rotherham during the summer but then lost interest after the Swans placed a £250k price tag on his head. It is now the case that Petty needs the cash so badly he has taken the first offer which is an insult to a player of Stuart's capability.
