Kick Off: 13.30 Customers are advised that Network Rail will be carrying out engineering work between Swansea and Cardiff Central on Sunday 2 April. All First Great Western services between Swansea and Cardiff will be replaced by Coach services in both directions and are expected to be extremely busy.Travel Recommendations & Coach Provision Customers travelling before 12.00 from Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot Parkway and Bridgend to Newport, and stations beyond, may experience delays and short notice alterations to their journeys, as the advertised rail replacement coach operation may be affected by traffic delays as a result of the large volume of customers travelling to Cardiff for the Cup Final. Customers are therefore recommended to commence their journeys EARLIER than normal to ensure onward London-bound train connections and seat reservations are maintained Special bus services for fans travelling to the LDV Trophy Final will operate between 8am and 11am from Swansea on Sunday 2 April to ensure that fans arrive on time for the match. Arriva Trains Wales will also operate a half-hourly train shuttle service between Bridgend and Cardiff Central Station providing fans with the option to Park and Ride from Bridgend. Fans should arrive early at the station, as buses will be boarded on a first come, first served basis to customers with Boarding Passes only.Non-Alcohol Policy No alcohol will be permitted on any train or bus services between Swansea and Cardiff Central stations. Please note that it is an offence under Railway Byelaw 4 for any person travelling on services specified as 'Dry' to be in possession of intoxicating liquor or to be in a state of intoxication.Post - Match Arrangements Return services depart Cardiff Central Station after the final whistle and fans are advised to return to the station as soon as possible. For safety reasons, a queuing system will be in operation after the match, limiting the number of people allowed into Cardiff Central Station. Seat reservations will not be available on return Coach services after the match, but will operate on a first come, first serve basis to Customers with Boarding Passes only. Customers are, therefore, reminded to retain all Tickets and Boarding Passes, as only passengers with these passes will be allowed to travel on Coaches returning to Swansea.Station Facilities There are no left luggage facilities available at Cardiff Central Station. The station closes after the departure of the last train.
