Meet The Ref - Cheltenham Town

Saturday's referee is Scottish referee Scott Mathieson from Cheshire, he is a very experienced referee and has been refereeing since 1997; He was the referee in the infamous Hull game where the Swans stayed in Division 3 on the last game of the season.

He kindly awarded us two penalties in that game which Swansea won 4-2.

Mr Mathieson averages just 2.2 Yellow cards per game (based on last season) He refereed us once last season, in the home game against MK Dons. He had quite an easy game; he did award a debatable consolation penalty for MK Dons which needed a re-take.
