Let Derby County Have Him
Let Derby County Have Him

Another day another moan from Ferrie Bodde and Derby County about how unfair life is and how Swansea should just buckle

The Swans are clearly being pressured by a concerted effort between player and club to sell the player on someone else’s terms.

Of course we should just sit back, give up and accept gratefully whatever offer Derby want to make and allow the player to leave.   After all why should we want to hold onto the player or hold out for the right price for his services?   This is the mighty Derby County we are talking about.

Today’s Derby toilet paper has the following quotes from Ferrie the wantaway

"It is stressing me out, I am waiting but this has been going on since the start of my holidays some seven or eight weeks ago,” Bodde is reported as saying.

“I am at Swansea not but my heart and my head are not - at times I am not sure what I will do, but my family is my main focus. I never wanted to leave with a bad taste, but the way things have gone is not my fault, it was a hard decision to decide to leave, as it was when I left Holland to come to Swansea.

He added: "It is normal some people may think this is all about me but it isn't because Swansea are the ones who need to sort this out - they need to be fair. I came here to be a success and I have helped them to the Championship, but I have ambitions.

“I want to be in the Premier League and with Derby next year I think I will be and then, I would love the chance to push for the national side. I want to play for Derby and really hope that happens soon so I can begin training with them ready for the new season.”

Lets make life easy Swansea.   Give in to Derby’s offer which is likely to be at a guess between £1 and £1.5m up front and slap on a huge sell on clause so that when Ferrie’s agent starts to orchestrate the next move next summer we can sit back safe in the knowledge that this time around it’s not us. Swansea City survived before him and we will survive after him.

It’s just got boring now let’s do the deal.
