Swans And Southampton Agree Dyer Deal Thursday, 28th May 2009 14:02 The Daily Echo reports that Swansea and Southampton have reached an agreement over Nathan Dyer The Swans have long since been known admirers of Dyer thanks to his loan spell at the Liberty last season. And the local Southampton paper now reports that the two clubs have agreed an initial £200,000 transfer for Dyer with a further £200,000 due at a later date. Saints boss Mark Wotte said: “Nathan is an academy player who had his difficulties at Southampton but because of his speed and his technique he can be a valuable player in the future. “We reached an agreement with Swansea which everybody was happy with and so wish him all the best."
