Shaun MacDonald sees his loan spell end next week but has no idea as to what the future holds for him

The Swansea City midfielder does not know whether he will remain at the Liberty or whether his time at his hometown club is up.

Speaking to the Evening Post, Macdonald said

"I have been at Swansea since I was nine," MacDonald said.

"It's my hometown team and the club means a lot to me. I have always loved playing for Swansea and I always will.

"But on the other hand I have had a taste of playing regular football for Yeovil and I've really enjoyed it.

"Every player wants to be playing games and I don't want to go back to being sat in the stands or on the bench every week.

"I am back this weekend because my loan spell has to end after 93 days," MacDonald added.

"I think Yeovil are trying to keep me, but I haven't spoken to anyone at Swansea recently and I'm not really sure what they are thinking.

"The manager at Yeovil has made me feel wanted and hopefully I have paid him back with some good performances.

"I have just been doing my best like I always do, but what happens next is up to the gaffer at Swansea.

"I will definitely be home for a week or so and I will have to talk to him about it then."
