The Evening Post is reporting that Swansea look favourites to land Ryn Bertrand on loan from Chelsea

Bertrand is a target for Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers hot on the heels of him landing Tottenham Hotspur defender Steven Caulker on a season long loan.

Rodgers has targetted Bertrand as the man he wants to bolster his defence especially with Neil Taylor looking for a move to Newcastle United.

And the Post is reporting that at least three other Premier League clubs are after the services of Bertrand.   Wolves, QPR and Fulham are all reported to be chasing the England Under 21 international although they also state that he is keen to link up again with Rodgers after they worked together at Stamford Bridge.

Bertrand joined up with Rodgers for a second time whilst he was in charge of Reading.

The Post also reports that Rodgers relationship with new Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas will also help with the new man wanting a big say in where some of his younger players end up next season.
