Clasie Drops Hint He May Be On Way To The Premier League Thursday, 28th May 2015 13:42 Jordy Clasie could be on his way to the Premier League with Saints in prime position to secure his signature from Feyenoord. Jordy Clasie has spoken of how he may have played his last game for Feyenoord and that could signal that Ronald Koeman is about to bid for his ex player. Speaking after Feyenoord's recent game against Heerenveen, Clasie said. “Maybe this was my last game for Feyenoord. It is possible I might leave.” Of course Clasie was linked with Saints in January, but back then Feyenoord did not have the inclination to sell and Saints with Wanyama, Schneiderlin and Cork in their ranks not to mention several other central midfielders on the books at that time were in no hurry to pay over inflated prices usual in the January window. Now though is a different story and clearly Clasie is looking towards the Premier League. Manchester united were also linked in January, but their interest has cooled and Clasie knows he is far more likely to be a regular started at St Mary's than at Old Trafford and that along with his relationship with his old boss Koeman who oversaw his development at De Kuip could be the key factor in where he goes. Saints will have to pay more than they were offering back in January though and fees between £10-£13 million are being mentioned, Saints will be far more likely to pay it now though especially since they are likely to have £25 million should Morgan Schneiderlin go.
