LFW brings you a brief update of what was a mixed week for the reserve and youth teams.

Last Saturday, Rangers Youngsters were in Youth Alliance Cup action once more and suffered a 2-0 to Wycombe. This latest Group result, leaves the Young R's needing to win at Southend this coming Saturday and for other results to go in their favour in order to finish in the top three and onto the knockout stages of the competition.

As mentioned, Rangers Youngsters are in Cup action again, away at Southend on Saturday 26th September

All home fixtures are played at Imperial College Sports Ground, Sipson Lane, Harlington, Middlesex - Kick-off 10.45am.

Moving swiftly on and there were better fortunes for the R's second string on Tuesday afternoon - winning 2-0 at home to Gillingham. Two second half goals from Antonio German and Matteo Alberti were more than enough in what by all accounts, was a pretty comfortable outing for Keith Ryan's men.

The next scheduled reserve outing, is a home game with Brentford on Tuesday 13th October, with a 2pm kick off.

Please note, Reserve Home Fixtures are now played at Aldershot's Recreation Ground.
