It's pronounced An-hell Ran-hell with a guttural noise in the middle of both that no Englishman could ever make correctly. J and G are both like that. Jorge is hoor-hay, again with a guttural noise in the middle. Jesus is hey-zeus. Xavier is Havier. Sevilla is obviously seviya. Ll is a Y.

timcocking added 01:28 - Nov 22 Angel Rangel will have completely given up by now trying to get British folk to pronounce it correctly, so saying Anjel Ranjel is...a simple way of getting his name across in a more appropriate fashion than with a hard G, but it's still absolutely wrong.
