Lucciano's goals are a bit like buses, none for ages then suddenly two come along at once!

Simon Grayson asked for a reaction following Tuesday's shocker at Bury and got what he wanted!

Leeds headed up to Hartlepool and rattled in five without reply.

The Victoria Ground holds many bad recent memories, last season Leeds were pegged back in injury time to a 2-2 draw.

The shocker at the Shakers had not diminished the appetite of the whites' faithful as over 1000 travelled north and the home side eager to cash in opened up another section of the stadium to accomodate the visitors.

Their faith was rewarded after just five minutes, the build up was definitely route-one as Shane Higgs, a surprise choice over Kasper Schmichael launced a long-ball forward which Poolies failed to deal with and Robert Snodgrass opened the scoring.

Leeds dominated possession and with five minutes remaining doubled their lead. New signing Lloyd Sam capped an impressive display by providing the chance for Becchio to head home his first and the whites' second.

Leeds made it 3-0 on the stroke of half-time, Johnny Howson was the provider with a fine cross from the left  and Bradley Johnson powered home the header.

Leeds kept up the momentum and on 57 minutes, Howson turned provider cum scorer on his left following good work by Kilkenny, Connelly and Sam.

Ten minutes later, the rout was complete and Becchio headed home his second of the afternoon, the popular Argentinian glanced home Snodgrass's cross and suddenly Bury was a dim and distant memory.
