Former manager Gary Ablett has been diagnosed with having Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer, after being taken ill at Ipswich's training ground last week. The 44-year-old has recently agreed a one-year deal with the Portman Road side to join Roy Keane's coaching staff after being relieved of his duties at Edgeley Park in the summer.

Gary was taken ill early last week and tests have shown that he is suffering from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

We wish Gary a full and speedy recovery from the illness.
