I thought I read somewhere he had zero assists this year
from what ive seen of him this season he has been pretty poor |
We spent a lot of the start of this season only scoring from set pieces, which he takes 9/10. I think he's registered as having 3 assists so far this season. Including an outstanding one for Polter last week.
Creating chances is also obvs different to assists, he can't finish the chances he creates for people though.
I accept he's been mostly out of form for the last few weeks (barring Norwich) and he's not good enough to build a team around like JFH was trying to do, but you lose a lot if you take him out this team, there's definitely not a better number 10 at the club. |  |

he also took one of the worst penalties ive seen
like I said I really don't get the adulation he receives , when I've seen him play he has been mostly missing during games , id rather we dropped him and play two out and out wingers to support polter & Washington

I thought Chery was going ok until he did that interview in The Independent and JFH started saying he had to play all the time and suddenly everything was supposed to revolve around him. At least he tries to keep the ball down and actually play, which is more than can be said for a lot of the players in this division. |  |

We'll have to wait until afterwards to see why, maybe? On Saturday Henry's inclusion caused consternation but we soon found out that circumstances forced it. So maybe we'll learn more before the night is out. | |
