I thought the sending off was reasonable, the defender made a bigger mistake than the ref but you can see why the ref gave it.
Was not at the game, but we've all been at games where the ref makes what are perceived to be 1-2 bad calls and then each decision is treated ass an outrage and everyone winds each other up into a fury of sorts. | |

As the levels increase so does speed,skill of players.
Referees have to make quicker decisions, be fitter, come under more pressure, results "matter" more at each level of the pyramid.
I agree, to an extent, that 1 level up/down, there is not much difference,but there IS a difference and it IS more difficult to referee at the next level up. | | | |
