The first half of your 'quality of her coaching' same sentence - let's not start splitting hairs over the meaning of that. |

I only came on for a casual up-vote but see it's culture wars time again on here on Friday afternoon. But yes, Shef, you're right, the establishment does love a bit of EDI - for better or worse. A lot of people will think for the better but let's leave that part alone: my problem is you're admitting you don't know if she's any good, and that you won't be in a position to tell for another decade. So why jump on her? Both things can be true: the EDI stuff, and the possibility that she deserves the job regardless of any other factors. Tearing her down without knowing just feels knee jerk to me. |

What a difference it makes to have a player fit and motivated. He's been a Rolls Royce in the last few months, but after 16 games last season, many of them partial games, in a shocking side, all it took was this recent uptick for these alleged offers to be floating around. |

Agree with all of that first paragraph, Goblin. (No idea about the inquest bit.) |

I listened to this in my extremely compact Brooklyn flat during the great days of dial up. The year before my then girlfriend had sat through the Cardiff final with a bottle of champagne at the ready. She left me to my depression at the final whistle and only mentioned later she'd had it with her. Was quite touched. For this one I had a 6-pack of Becks ready and ended up starting on it at half time once results were looking good. A great day that was hard to explain to local people at the time, partly due to the 6 beers before noon. Amazing to think how long ago it all was. |

If we sell JCS (and it's hard to argue against it) I'd guess they'll be looking at bringing in at least one or two microwaveable replacements. Marti talked at length on that Swedish tactics podcast about the freedom that being able to have defenders go 1-1 against attackers can offer, as opposed to needing a "+1". I think he had that towards the end of the season with JCS and Cook . |

Was going to mention Maguire. They need to get the calipers on that thing - really shouldn't be legal. He'd be League 2 at best if it wasn't for that enormous bonce. |

Intermittent fasting - I've been doing it myself - 5 days a week anyway, nice bit of bacon and eggs on the weekend - you have to have something to live for :) Mine was also advised by a doctor during a cardiology appointment - said he didn't like the look of my belly or my neck, or my blood work! So I've tried to reform quite a bit. (It wasn't Dr Boon Lim at Hammersmith Hospital was it, Enfield? That was who gave me the talk, says he does it himself and even talks about it in his book, which I only read part of I must admit...). The 16-8 stuff is a work in progress I'd say, for me anyway. The trick is to not go mad between 12pm and 8pm which can be a challenge on certain days. There's been loads written and broadcast about it of course. Saying all that I don't think I can agree with Hoopsie's point tbh. There's a difference between not eating after 8 and then overnight compared to squeezing in the eating with sleep, and then fasting through daylight. Possibly not quite as big as people may think I suppose. |

Kazakhstan number 1 exporter of potassium, all other countries inferior potassium. |

Agree - they may have already decided that with him and Walsh as a back up they can prioritise other areas. Still leaves us with an increasingly immobile, aging keeper, presumably as No. 1 which doesn't seem ideal. Unless they're going to loan Walsh out again and have Begovich as no. 2 to a new keeper. |
