Yeah, understand the confusion. It was meant to be best first goal scored for the club. Thread changed to best first goal for Rangers. But there's not much going on now, so no reason why we can't include best debut goal?! [Post edited 20 May 20:00]

Having just seen the MOTD goal of the season and seen the McAllister debut goal for Liverpool and then today's debut goal from Caicedo for Chelskint it got me thinking. So, the predictable question is, which Rangers player has scored the best debut goal? I'll go for Seny Dieng, but that's just to get the ball rolling. Any youtube clips of your suggestion would help cement the vote... [Post edited 20 May 19:56]

Hey DJ! Is it being streamed online? Obvious next question, if so where? And what time are you on, Grandad? |

Thank God for that list. Sanity has been restored. I'm only joking, it's all subjective, I get that, no right or wrong etc but some of the other lists show up Chris for how one dimensional he is! [Post edited 17 May 23:57]

Ah, the Mailcoach. Great pub, for pre and post and occasionally during game, drinks. Had the most expletive laden landlord I've ever known. It was never a question of Wilie swear.... [Post edited 12 May 23:48]

I think the key phrase I've seen so far in this thread is "emotional connection". In my terms, it's about how the music makes me feel and react. I want music to make me feel good, basically. So, maybe shallow, but it's not the words or the instruments, it's how it makes me feel and move. I'm looking (listening!) for rhythm, groove, energy and buzz. |

Home town club that have made a slow but significant rise throuh the leagues from Non league to League 1 and now back in the League 2 play off final. I know some will mention the "circumstances" that have enabled them to be able to achieve that, to which I'd reply, "Show me a clean club". Obviously, there are diiffering levels, but like it or not, there are no Saints left out there and every club is trying to take advantage of the situation they find themselves in and the rules available to them , to varying degrees to improve their standing. And let's face it, Crawley is small time, I'm not talking about the City's and Chelskints of the world. So, I hope they take loads to Wembley, would love to actually be there (one of my best non QPR days out was the 3rd round of the F.A.Cup, Brighton vs Crawley in 1992 when Crawley took, I believe 6,000, which helped the Goldstone record their highest ever gate of over 18k. We lost 5-0. |
