Derby could have 100 shots on target But none went in We couldn’t hit the target Until one went in |

Did 110,000 who couldn’t get in / jib in / buy tickets riot outside Wembley? |
| Forum Reply | where will we finish next season... at 00:12 27 May 2024
Play -offs - if we strengthened the first team with a few acquisition - 20 goal striker, a replacement for Willock, a decent right back, cover for JCS, a seasoned goalkeeper and add a midfield general If we don't then mid table looms: - Joe Walsh in goal - keeps Dykes, JCS - a replacement for Willock perhaps a loan - Armstrong and Kolli stepping up Relegation mini-league - only if we lose Marti! - Never let that happen |

Relax, easy, just “jib in” People done it in bigger events like the euro final at Wembley and Glastonbury |
| Forum Reply | Marti Contract?? at 21:42 24 May 2024
Honestly, it will not deter Premier League clubs (if that is where he is heading next I would assume) to pay the release compensation with all the monies they have Rohl signing a long term extension simply means should he get headhunted the club gets a nice pay off and he gets a “dream” job so a win win |
| Forum Reply | Rumour Plymouth manager gone at 21:22 24 May 2024
Perhaps Plymouth is the only destination in the Championship, he would have to manage in League One otherwise which is beneath him Plymouth must be thinking they could tap on his “reputation” to attract players from his network of former clubs and premier league clubs It is a death wish I’m not wishing on anyone more so Plymouth, unless we are one of the 3 odds-on favourites to go down next season! |

Eze’s England career will be supercharged if he leaves Palace for one of the big guns - Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and God forbid Chelsh*t. At the moment his contenders at the big clubs will be the forerunners |

To be fair, this thread is transfer “rumours”. Rumours don’t need a start time. |

Virtually no police presence around Wembley stadium Shocking to have temporary fencing erected to condone off the restricted areas. Temporary fences? [Post edited 22 May 13:17]

Quite agree The club has signed off first team players one at a time. Adomah, Kakay, Drewe, Dozzell, Archer, SDM - though not really paying attention to what he had to say about each of them, rather noting that there is a proper farewell if I can put it that way. Due respect to players who had represented the club albeit they are deemed “not good enough”, “surplus to requirements”, “past used by date” etc There will be more to come in the following weeks Also, those who have had their contracts extended are being in focused one at a time. These include players from the development squad. You may not agree with how the club is doing it, but having the COE coming out and saying something is probably better than doing nothing, I suppose. |
| Forum Thread | The Andy Sinton Scream……. at 21:26 18 May 2024
Just caught the last episode of the Rangers Report on the official site. Great mention of the trademark “Andy Sinton Scream”, love it every time a rangers goal is scored. Not too many last season, but the last 3 games we had 7 Sinton screams, incredible to end the season on a high with 3 consecutive wins! Picked second Millwall winning goal by Armstrong (his headphones came off and flew off celebrating on the gantry) and the unforgettable Jimmy Dunne volley for the injury-time winner against Birmingham as his most memorable The Andy Sinton scream, just phenomenal! |

So the new rule is trying to make football “foot”ball You can’t handle the ball, now you can’t head the ball, it is just going to be all foot Makes sense |
| Forum Reply | Pitch size at 11:38 18 May 2024
Worth a look The maximum length is 120 yards or 109.7 metres and maximum width 80 yards or 73.2 metres. So we could increase length wise by about 7.7m (from 102m) and widen it by 7.2m (from 66m). That will bring the pitch into the stands I suggest instead of lengthening into the school end which is the away end, why not encroach into the Loft where the home supporters are so that fans can help to defend when the team is defending the goal at the Loft End, and help to score goals and take corners when the team is attacking down the Loft. Fans at both Stanley Bowles stand and SAR stand can chip in to help take throw ins and put in much needed crosses from the wings for our strikers to take a punt. Fans can literally be the 12th man |

Looking at the table, would success means we field 5? We were average with 3 players, but not far off are we? Could have done better but certainly not a failure in that context Besides what is home “grown” or “trained”? Academy players from age 8? Premier league drop outs? Locally scouted? Young foreigners? Lives within 20 miles of club? Or everyone just because they played in the development league? |
