Birmingham in need of a goal. Manager turns around to look at his bench and Tyler R is playing Candy Crush on his phone while organising a limo to get to the club later. Brings on just about everyone else instead. |

I guess they aren’t obliged to take Dozzell on and someone will be mug enough to take Laird (Cardiff my bet). Tyler though is destined to be on the bench looking miserable at Shrewsbury away. |

I think for the money he was on it was basically a glorified trial when we were scrabbling around for anyone. Thanks for the goal and all that but I think it’s one we shake hands on and say farewell. I’ll always remember him running around with a fridge on his back at Swansea. |

It’s not impacted mine. He’s been a rock- pun intended- of this team through bad times and worse times. Always puts the effort in, maybe even tried too hard when there was so much dross around him, never hides, rarely if ever not available. Were it not for the legal stuff I’m sure he’d have gone for decent money last year. Not many better ‘10s’ in this league and none who work harder. |

I think they made it quite clear early on they didn’t fancy it rather than there being any need for initimidation. I was expecting a Colback special early on and it was never needed. They just melted after Chair’s goal. |

Byram was pretty dreadful but Gnonto hung him out to dry. Would like to see the Byram (think it was him) foul on Chair by the corner flag. Looked a red card all day in the Prem. |

The big weakness of our formation in my uninformed view is we often leave the full-backs exposed which against Summerville and Gnonto was keeping me up at night. Both full-backs were great but I thought Field and Colback closed off that space really well. It did help that Gnonto had a strop after five minutes and never stopped. Field for me. |

I find it’s quicker getting away if you park the other side of Uxbridge Rd. No restrictions after 5 on Conningham Rd I think and certainly not once you go about 100 yards further from the ground. |

Makes the playoffs interesting if Hull win their next one. WBA need something and still have to play Sheff W. Hull need to win both to have any chance and if Norwich slip up against Swansea they’re playing Birm and Plymouth respectively on the last day so if it really goes tits up this weekend that would be handy. |
