I was once on the phone to my mate and we were trying to arrange a meet up so I needed to check my calendar and as we were talking I was walking all over the flat looking for my phone so I could look at my calendar… |

We want fewer teams with parachute payments in the division, I think...so I don't want WBA to get up and be reboosted...so I have to hold my nose and agree with wanting Leeds up. Sheff Utd were dire, and are rumoured this morning to be bidding almost £10m for Sunderland's goalkeeper. We don't need WBA being anothe clubdoing that in a couple years as well. Conversely, maybe we do...to reinvigorate that £5-10m good championship player market. |

Another fasting mostly keto freak here. Only eat 11:30-7, but sometimes extend it to be social and sometimes constrict it by a few hours because I'm just not hungry yet. Although my appetite is huge once it gets going. Results: Bit more energy, bit less weight, a lot less likely to get diabetes, perhaps a little more likely to have heart problems with all the saturated fat. How can you tell someone is a vegan / doesn't have a tv / fasts / is keto? Don't worry, they'll fckn tell you. [Post edited 7 May 10:37]

Using the link in the report to the table on 1/1/24 - we've been in playoff form since then. Extrapolate that over 46 games and we'd have 80 points. That really is some change. |

Didn't look out of place at all. One misplaced chip, and a decent saved punched into a danger area (that Hayden handled and cleared), but first team championship keepers do this. At least one very good save, and some good claims too. I'd be happy if he was offered a new contract based on this showing. |

Nigel spackman got sacked and everyone on one of the old boards started new threads about it as if it was breaking news. |

I think the back to backs tell us more about the championship. Most teams aren't very good, so momentum is everything. If you get promoted from league 1 with a tight unit with good team spirt, well organised and drilled, who are used to winning, that momentum is going to carry you far in the championship and perhaps all the way. It's not so much being in league 1 that's the advantage...it's being a mature winning team. |

I respect your posts a lot Brian, and where you’re coming from on this. I put Nigerian because it interested me, and being a similar age and background (Dublin) to Sinclair made me wonder if they knew each other from youth of international football. And personally I don’t mind the hyphenated nationalities. I’m half American myself even if I choose not to identify with it much. But here’s a question? Is Ilias Chair Belgian, Moroccan, Polish or British (he can probably get the passport now if he hasn’t already)? He’s all and none of them. He’s Ilias Chair. But I think we can fairly refer to him by any of those. |

Starting to come thick and fast this morning. Amani Richards, 19, forward from Leicester, ex Arsenal. Rocco Friel, 17, defender who's never played for Hearts. Boson Lawal, 20, defender/midfielder from Celtic who's just done a full season at Fleetwood, Irish Nigerian. [Post edited 30 Apr 11:42]

I’ve always wanted blue and black like a hooped inter Milan. We can play our home kit against teams that play all in blue. The away kit against teams that play in white (Leeds, derby) or blue and white (West Brom) |
