Loftboy, great question but we can't discuss it on LfW. I respect Clive's call for no political threads on here despite wishing I could respond to your and many other political posts. All I do is quote The Who's classic song, Won't Get Fooled Again, Meet the new boss, same as the old boss |

Chimaechi Eze was a youth player at QPR three years ago and we let him go. |

Aaron Connolly's Spackman count must surely be an all time high. |

Given he's 29 I'm not all that keen on Josh Murphy. He'll probably go to a club that can pay him more than we can anyway. I think there are younger players out there who are worth recruiting and investing in more than him. |

In recent years McCallum seems to have only played half a season or less. Not sure why but perhaps injury issues unlike Paal who is always fit and available. |

Some think something happened in 1986 at Wembley but I say nothing happened at all. |

Fantastic track, in every sense of the word. It was very left field when it came out in the early 70s but all the 'heads' loved it. |

I'd be so delighted to see Eze start for England. As far as I'm concerned, he's still one of our boys and always will be. |

So far I like Nourry. He's clearly a much needed breath of fresh air. However, when it comes to communication he seems far keener on communicating relatively unimportant reflections about players leaving the club than informing supporters about players' length of contracts. For me, at least, the latter is far more worth knowing. |

You make a fair point but the question would then be, how much could Eze, or any player, effectively push for a transfer? |

Who'll be the next player announced to be moving on? There are still quite a few left who have contracts expiring - Begovic, Willock, EDB, Walsh, Mahoney. Or might it be a surprise 'mutual agreement' exit by Richards? It's too early yet for a proper transfer for JCS or Dykes should there be any real interest in them. I think Gubbins is most likely to be the next to be shown the door. |

Ahh, the good old days when yodeling got you to no 1. |

Nourry should stop feeling he has to make a public comment every time a player leaves or signs. It's getting a tad irritating now and it's entirely unnecessary. |

It's the amount of new players supporters are willing to accept into their club during the transfer window. |

Yep indeed, Terry, but Johansson had a further year on his contract at Rotherham plus there's a fee involved. It looks like a normal player transfer to me. |

The Transfer Window doesn't open until 14th June. How come Stoke are doing business already? |
