Hi
Does anyone know of a place that can repair / replace a Vauxhall key, without paying dealership prices? It's a remote locking key, so as the key itself is chipped I don't think many places will do it? Its only the housing that holds the battery that has broken away from its base.

It's hard to know without seeing the key itself, but with some of these types of keys you can buy a new shell and swap the actual cut bit of the key and chip/electronic bit inside over from the old shell into the new one.

I had replacement key there about 18months ago.
But they couldn't do central locking for some reason.
