Gnohere honourary card count 06/07
Tuesday, 5th Jun 2007 09:57

In honour of possibly the most leaden footed, ill disciplined, light fingered (allegedly) defender to wear the Hoops for some time, we bring you a comprehensive list of every card picked up by QPR during the 2006/07 season. With thanks to W7 for the brain wave.

Gareth Ainsworth
Yellow cards
4

Against... Southend A
Referee... Peter Walton
What the hell for? Wild elbow swinging aerial challenge on McCormack sparking a skirmish.

Against... Ipswich A
Referee... Rob Lewis
What the hell for? Late tackle on Harding, seemed very harsh.

Against... Derby A
Referee... Steve Tanner
What the hell for? Bad tackle on David Jones.

Against... West Brom H
Referee... Paul Armstrong
What the hell for?Lunging late tackle on Jason Koumas.

Stefan Bailey
Red cards
1

Against... Luton A (FA Cup)
Referee... Mick Jones
What the hell for? Wild two footed challenge on Brkovic that left the Luton man on a stretcher and sparked a mass brawl on the pitch. Bailey appeared to head butt the referee on the way off, and whether it was by accident or not he was charged with misconduct by the FA.

Yellow cards 3

Against... Port Vale A
Referee... Graham Salisbury
What the hell for? Wild lunge on Paul Harsley in the opening stages - play was allowed to continue with an advantage but the referee rightly came back and booked Stefan.

Against... Cardiff A
Referee... Phil Joslin
What the hell for? Flying two footed attack on Miachel Chopra in injury time. His tackling technique is such that even a slight mis-timing will result in a card!

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Fouling Dom matteo - would have been let off with a warning by a more sensible referee.

Marcus Bignot
Yellow cards
6

Against... Sheff Wed A
Referee... Keith Hill
What the hell for? Cynical two footed lunge on Wade Small. The winger was heading through a big gap in the Rangers defence at the time and Bignot had little choice.

Against... WBA A
Referee... Lee Mason
What the hell for?A foul on Gera as QPR were hanging on for a point.

Against... Cardiff A
Referee... Phil Joslin
What the hell for? Cynically hauled down Maichel Chopra after being skinned on the byline.

Against...Norwich A
Referee... Phil Dowd
What the hell for? Cynically pulled back Darren Huckerby as the winger threatened to accelerate away from him.

Against...Derby A
Referee... Steve Tanner
What the hell for? Run of the mill body check on David Jones, harsh decision.

Against... Cadiff H
Referee... Mick Thorpe
What the hell for? Foul.

Marc Bircham
Yellow cards
3

Against... Ipswich H
Referee... Lee Mason
What the hell for? A quite horrendous two footed lunge on Gavin Williams seconds after coming off the bench. Lucky not to be sent off.

Against... Plymouth A
Referee... Andre Marriner
What the hell for? A perfectly timed tackle on Barry Hayles on the edge of the penalty area.

Against... Colchester A
Referee... Mick Thorpe
What the hell for? Bad tackle on Kevin Watson - he seemed to be on a one man mission to get sent off in the second half.

Dexter Blackstock
Yellow cards
7

Against... Southend H
Referee... Iain Williamson
What the hell for? Diving - looked to be tripped on the edge of the box but the decision went the other way and Blackstock got booked within 20 seconds of his debut!

Against... Luton A
Referee... Andy D'Urso
What the hell for? Felt he was fouled by Robinson but D'Urso waved play on, got up and hacked Robinson to the ground. Deserved, but maybe should have been a free kick the other way in the first place.

Against... Hull A
Referee... Nigel Miller
What the hell for? Full blooded, mistimed tackle on Andy Dawson. The way Blackstock throws himself about these things will happen!

Against... Southend A
Referee... Peter Walton
What the hell for? Fouled Richie Foran in stoppage time. Considering it was 5-0 with a matter of seconds left, and Blackstock had been battered all night by Efe Sodje with no protection from the referee, this decision just about summed Peter Walton up for the miserable, usless tosser he is.

Against... Leeds A
Referee... Tony Bates
What the hell for? Challenging the goalkeeper under a high cross. Very harsh decision.

Suspended for Ipswich away, 5 bookings

Against... West Brom H
Referee... Paul Armstrong
What the hell for? Over celebrating his equaliser if you can believe that.

Against... Preston H
Referee... Keith Stroud
What the hell for? Over celebrating the winner! Twice in a week.

Adam Bolder
Yellow cards
8

Against... Southend A
Referee... Peter Walton
What the hell for? Late tackle on Campbell Ryce. 5-0 and with a minute to play, just the time to start booking players of course.

Against... Plymouth H
Referee... Richard Beeby
What the hell for? Foul on Lilian Nalis - a theatrical stop, drop and roll from the Frenchman didn't help but he got sent off near the end in a moment of poetic justice.

Against...Sheff Wed
Referee... Andy Woolmer
What the hell for? Bad tackle on Tommy Spurr.

Against... Preston H
Referee... Keith Stroud
What the hell for? Ultimately it was for a tiny push and knock of the ball away, but me thinks this was a culmination of offences.

Against... Luton H
Referee... Clive Penton
What the hell for? Fouling Matthew Spring.

Against... Sunderland A
Referee... Mike Jones
What the hell for? Fouling Carlos Edwards - deserved.

Against... Cardiff H
Referee... Mick Thorpe
What the hell for? Repetitive fouling.

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Challenging Salif Diao for a bouncing ball, barely even a foul never mind a card. kettle seemed to be pointing to a number of other offences but really the ref was losing the plot by this stage.

Lee Camp
Yellow cards
3

Against... Leeds A
Referee... Tony Bates
What the hell for? Time wasting - during the first half with the score at 0-0. Crazy decision in my opinion.

Against... West Brom H
Referee... Paul Armstrong
What the hell for? Punched the ball out towards the corner from which the next set piece was about to be taken and got booked, God knows what for. Can't have been time wasting because we were losing and the ball had to go out there anyway.

Against... Cardiff H
Referee... Mike Thorpe
What the hell for? Offered his hand to Michael Chopra after the match and a fight ensued. Says more about Chopra's attitude than Camp's, Chopra was sent off for his part in the incident.

Jake Cole
Yellow cards
1

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Timewasting over a free kick which he wasn't even meant to be taking - a ridiculous card from a mad referee.

Lee Cook
Yellow cards
9

Against... Plymouth A
Referee... Andre Marriner
What the hell for? Minor foul on David Norris, seemed very harsh.

Against... Colchester A
Referee... Steve Tanner
What the hell for? Bad foul on Greg Halford who then refused to shake Cook's hand and was met with a right handed knuckle shuffle.

Against...Derby H
Referee... Mick Thorpe
What the hell for? Frustrated by the worst refereeing decision in living memory to award Derby a throw in after Marc Edworthy had headed it into touch Cook executed a tackle on Bolder, winning the ball, and was penalised. He hammered the ball into the Loft in frustration and was booked.

Against...Norwich A
Referee... Phil Dowd
What the hell for? Three fouls in quick succession on Lee Croft.

Against...Hull A
Referee... Nigel Miller
What the hell for? Lost the ball to Sam Ricketts and then fouled him - committed a few offences before this as well.

Against...Hull A
Referee... Nigel Miller
What the hell for? Dissent - argued for too long after Rangers had a blatant penalty turned down. However bad the decision - bookings for dissent are unforgiveable.

Cook misses Luton away in the cup for the sending off but is still one yellow card away from another one match ban as a result of two at Hull.

Against...Sheff Wed H
Referee... Andy Woolmer
What the hell for? Diving - theatrical fall on the edge of the box. Personally I didn't think it was a foul or a dive but there you go.

Against...Derby A
Referee... Steve Tanner
What the hell for? Fouling Marc Edworthy.

Against... Cardiff H
Referee... Mick Thorpe
What the hell for? Foul in injury time.

Danny Cullip
Yellow cards
5

Against... Leeds A
Referee... Tony Bates
What the hell for? Crude body check on Healy on the edge of the box - Mancienne seemed to have it under control and Healy was never getting to the ball so it seemed like a daft thing to do - deserved a card.

Against... Plymouth H
Referee... Richard Beeby
What the hell for? Fighting with David Norris - lucky not to have been booked before this for a whole host of fouls.

Against... Leicester A
Referee... Neil Swarbrick
What the hell for? Bit of a joke decision this one actually. A pass from midfield was overhit and ran through to Camp, the referee saw nothing wrong ad played on but the linesman flagged from 40 yards away to say that Cullip had fouled Horsfield and stopped him reaching it. Now even though the referee was only ten yards away and saw nothing wrong he then booked Cullip without speaking to the linesman - so he thought it was fine, the linesman saw something wrong, and he booked him without consulting the man that gave it. Madness.

Against... Preston H
Referee... Keith Stroud
What the hell for? Wrestled Michael Ricketts to the ground as he threatened to break through on goal. Could have been red but for Kanyuka covering.

Against... Sunderland A
Referee... Mike Jones
What the hell for? Wild lunge on Daryl Murphy - seemed to hurt himself doing it as well and was substituted a short time later.

Paul Furlong
Yellow cards
4

Against... Derby A
Referee... Steve Tanner
What the hell for? Kicking the ball away. It was actually a perfectly legitimate goal, wrongly flagged offside by the linesman, and Furlong was booked for putting the chance away. Joke decision all round.

Against... Leicester A
Referee... Neil Swarbrick
What the hell for? Kicking the ball away again - deserved it this time unlike at Derby.

Against... Sunderland A
Referee... Mike Jones
What the hell for? Bloody stupid tackle on the edge of his own box on Johnny Evans - Sunderland scored the winning goal from the free kick.

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Chipped the goalkeeper and scored after being flagged offside, booked for kicking the ball away.

Kevin Gallen
Yellow cards
1

Against... Palace A
Referee... Mike Dean
What the hell for? Realy bad tackle on McAnuff after miscontrolling the ball. Lucky not to be sent off later in the game when he was warned for dissent and cynically pulled Soares' shirt.

Inigo Idiakez
Yellow cards
1

Against... Derby A
Referee... Steve Tanner
What the hell for? Kicked the ball away all of ten feet after being penalised, earlier he'd not been booked for hauling Giles Barnes to the ground by his throat which sort of sums up the ref's performance on the night.

Pat Kanyuka
Yellow cards
1

Against... Coventry A
Referee... Pat Miller
What the hell for? Dissent - he was involved in a heated argument after Coventry had failed to kick the ball our so a player could be treated, and then refused to return the ball to QPR when play restarted.

Steve Lomas
Yellow cards
9

Against... Norwich H
Referee... Andre Marriner
What the hell for? Hacked down Daren Huckerby - probably sick and tired of being tormented by Norwich's best player!

Against... Sheff Wed A
Referee... Keith Hill
What the hell for? Fouling Yoann Folly.

Against... Leicester H
Referee... Keith Stroud
What the hell for? Thoroughly deserved booking for a crude two footed challenge that nearly knocked Andy Welsh into the Ellerslie Road Stand.

Against... WBA A
Referee... Lee Mason
What the hell for? Quite frankly a scandalous decision. A terrific tackle on halfway that won the ball cleanly with one foot and didn't touch Jonathan Greening. Disgraceful card.

Against... Crystal Palace H
Referee... Phil Dowd
What the hell for? Bit of a petty set to with Jobi McAnuff down by the corner flag.

Missed Luton away, 5 bookings.

Against... Colchester H
Referee... Peter Walton
What the hell for? Harshly penalsied for a foul on Izzet and then moaned and moaned until he was booked. The referee then gave QPR nothing for the rest of the game.

Against... Hull A
Referee... Nigel Miller
What the hell for? Tried to delay the taking of a free kick at 1-1 and was booked for it.

Against... Burnley H
Referee... Dermot Gallagher
What the hell for? Kicking the ball away after being penalised.

Against... Preston H
Referee... Keith Stroud
What the hell for? Dissent. Danny Cullip wrestled Michael Ricketts over and Ricketts threw all his toys out of the pram demanding Cullip be sent off - Lomas waded in with some choice words and then gave the referee an earful and was booked.

Paul Jones
Yellow cards
2

Against... Hull City H
Referee... Darren Deadman
What the hell for? Time wasting, considering Myhill started running the clock down from the 20th minute at 0-0 there was a distinct lack of consistency in this decision.

Against... Sheff Wed A
Referee... Keith Hill
What the hell for? Accused of tripping Steve MacLean in the area. Jones got lots of the ball and little of MacLean but a penalty was awarded. Jones was then booked when really, by the letter of the law, he should have been sent off. Not the ref's finest hour.

Ray Jones
Yellow cards
8

Against... Southend H
Referee... Iain Williamson
What the hell for? Tired, inexperienced or malicious? We'll never know I suppose but a thoroughly deserved card for a tackle from behind on halfway.

Against... Northampton H
Referee... Pat Miller
What the hell for? Kicking the ball away in stoppage time. Again his inexperience costing him.

Against... Hull City H
Referee... Darren Deadman
What the hell for? A really harsh card for a clumsy foul on Collins - considering Collins himself and David Livemore had both been allowed away with three fouls each without cards this was particularly hard on the young forward.

Against... Sheff Wed A
Referee... Keith Hill
What the hell for? Crude challenge on Yoann Folly.

Against... Sunderland H
Referee... Uriah Rennie
What the hell for? Brutal tackle on Steven Caldwell.

Missed Stoke away, 5 bookings

Against... Barnsley H
Referee... Russell Booth
What the hell for? Climbved over Brian Howard looking to flick on a high ball. Howard landed awkwardly and popped his shoulder out - the severity of the injury prompted the referee to act but really there didn't look to be a lot in it.

Against... Ipswich A
Referee... Rob Lewis
What the hell for? Frustrated late tackle on Harding.

Against... Leicester A
Referee... Neil Swarbrick
What the hell for? Fouling Darren Kenton is stoppage time.

Michael Mancienne
Yellow cards
2

Against... Stoke away
Referee... Martin Atkinson
What the hell for? Fouled Ricardo Fuller.

Against... Barnsley A
Referee... Carl Boyeson
What the hell for? Mistimed tackle on Daniel Nardiello.

Mauro Milanese
Yellow cards
3

Against... Colchester A
Referee... Mick Thorpe
What the hell for? Frustrated late lunge on Watson in injury time.

Against... Stoke A
Referee... Martin Atkinson
What the hell for? Cynical hand ball preventing Stoke breaking through on the half way line. Play was allowed to continue but the referee returned to book him at the end of the move.

Against... Birmingham A
Referee... Kevin Friend
What the hell for? Fouled Matt Sadler and then kicked the ball away - referee seemed to indicate the card was for the latter.

Stefan Moore
Yellow cards
1

Against... Coventry A
Referee... Pat Miller
What the hell for? Fouled Stephen Hughes but considering the tackle Page got away with on Blackstock a moment later this was a harsh card.

Marc Nygaard
Yellow cards
4

Against... Port Vale A
Referee... Graham Salisbury
What the hell for? Late sliding tackle on Pilkington - quite frankly Nygaard had lost interest by this stage and was withdrawn "injured" a short time later.

Against... Cardiff A
Referee... Phil Joslin
What the hell for? Constantly penalised for a series of physical battles with Darren Purse and eventually booked.

Against... Stoke A
Referee... Martin Atkinson
What the hell for? Clumsy foul on Duberry - Nygaard had been warned for persistent offending prior to this.

Against... Wolves A
Referee... Mike Pike
What the hell for? Had a bit of a set to with gary breen after they both went up for a header. A bit of pushing and shoving and an angry exchange of words followed by a yellow card for both players.

Zesh Rehman
Yellow cards
5

Against... Hull City H
Referee... Darren Deadman
What the hell for? Really bad tackle from behind on Mark Yeates. Thoroughly deserved card.

Against...Southampton A
Referee... Andy D'Urso
What the hell for? Involved in an off the ball spat with Rudi Skacel. There was nothing much in it but Skacel hit the deck straight away and in the modern game Rehman was probably lucky it wasn't a red card.

Against...Norwich H
Referee... Andre Marriner
What the hell for? A multitude of first half fouls - very lucky no to receive a second yellow when he gave away a second half penalty.

Against...Derby H
Referee... Mick Thorpe
What the hell for? One of numerous tackles from behind on Steve Howard. Fully deserved.

Against...Palace A
Referee... Mike Dean
What the hell for? Fouled Dougie Freedman.

Missed Stoke away, 5 bookings.

Matthew Rose
Yellow cards
1

Against... Southend H
Referee... Iain Williamson
What the hell for? Took out Jamal Campbell Ryce with a a big late hit. Looked to have got away with it for a while but JCR's theatrics secured a booking he probably deserved.

Martin Rowlands
Yellow cards
4

Against... Barnsley H
Referee... Russell Booth
What the hell for? A nasty two footed tackle on Austin - followed with numerous poor tackles and handbag sessions so all in all lucky to stay on the pitch.

Against... Southend A
Referee... Peter Walton
What the hell for? Followed through on Adam Barrett as he was executing a clearance.

Against...Sheff Wed H
Referee... Andy Woolmer
What the hell for? Bad foul on Glen Whelan.

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Tackle from behind on lee hendrie, first offence of the match and straight in the book.

Dominic Shimmin
Yellow cards
1

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Tackle from behind on Fuller, took the ball.

Jimmy Smith
Yellow cards
7

Against...Norwich H
Referee...Andre Marriner
What the hell for? Raised his hands to block a cross and got booked for deliberate hand ball. An identical incident in the penalty area against Curits Fleming brough no spot kick and when Smith did the same thing again later he was allowed away with it. Inconsistant refereeing.

Against...Sheff Wed A
Referee...Keith Hill
What the hell for?Charging out of the wall and blocking a free kick - blatant encroachment.

Against... Leicester H
Referee... Keith Stroud
What the hell for? Fouled Richard Stearman in stoppage time.

Against... WBA A
Referee... Lee Mason
What the hell for? Very, very harsh card for a minor shirt pulling offence. I really don't understand why this was worth a yellow.

Against... Barnsley
Referee... Russell Booth
What the hell for? Leathered into the back of Austin to collect his fifth yellow of the season and was then taken off straight away. This five match ban falls on the day of the Norwich game which Smith was unable to play in anyway because his two loan deals don't cover it. Technically he's now suspended for Chelsea v Fulham. Deliberate act maybe?

Against... Wolves A
Referee... Mike Pike
What the hell for? Needless shirt pulling offence - perhaps a little harsh.

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Failed to retreat for a free kick that was being taken in the wrong place. Another special decision from Mr Kettle.

Damion Stewart
Yellow cards
4

Against... Leeds H
Referee... Kevin Friend
What the hell for? Perfectly good and legal challenege on the edge of the box - penalised for reasons only Mr Friend could explain. Terrible decision.

Against... Plymouth A
Referee... Andre Marriner
What the hell for? Foul on Sylvain Ebanks-Blake, fair enough.

Against... Leicester A
Referee... Neil Swarbrick
What the hell for? Bad tackle from behind on Hume, needs to stay on his feet when he can't win the ball.

Against... Coventry A
Referee... Pat Miller
What the hell for? Fouled Andrew Whing.

Sam Timoska
Red cards
1

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Two quick fire bookings - see below.

Yellow cards 5

Against... Hull A
Referee... Nigel Miller
What the hell for? Hauled down Daryl Duffy after he'd skinned him - been a few offences before this as well.

Against... Barnsley A
Referee... Carl Boyeson
What the hell for? Cynical shirt pulling offence on Richards - no need to do it either, Cook had already regained possession.

Against... Leeds A
Referee... Tony Bates
What the hell for? Crude foul on Richard Cresswell right on the edge of the box. Deserved.

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Tripped Lee Martin who went down very easily.

Against... Stoke H
Referee... Trevor Kettle
What the hell for? Tripped lee Martin again, Martin went down very easily again.

Nick Ward
Yellow cards
1

Against... Coventry H
Referee... Clive Penton
What the hell for? After letting so many brutal challenges go, often without even awarding a free kick, Penton booked Ward for a nothing foul on Adebola.
