Leonis, honestly, I've no argument with that, although I do think labelling Carroll as a thug is more of a defensive reaction than anything else, but its understandable. If you want thug, look at c*nts like Robert Huth and the like. Essentially what I would like to see is the sort of shit that Flores, Suarez et al pull stamped out, but clearly there is no will to do it. That sends out a terrible message to the game in my opinion. I've seen the largely critical comments on Flores on this site for which fair play, I'd be pretty confident the majority of WHU fans would think the same way if the positions were reversed. I'm not sure what mechanism you'd use to achieve this, retrospective cards etc. but it f*cking sucks and needs to end.
I also think that cheating in that way is intrinsically worse than fouling, elbowing etc. and I think I'm in the majority of people who, reacting in a fairly instinctive way, would agree.

Agreed that cheating needs to be stamped out - retrospective cards would be the way to go but the FA won't review evidence for that. But worse than fouling, elbowing? Not in the eyes of the law - go out there with the intent to hurt a player and you're off.

I think the two are separate issues. I don't think it was a red but the referee did and as I said I thought we should accept that and move on. But the fact is that its almost impossible to argue that Webb wouldn't have been influenced by that f*ggot rolling around like he did. What grates is that the f*cking pansy walks away scot free whilst we lose an important player or three games. I don't think he's pivotal, and part of me is looking forward to seeing a couple of the players we signed in the window get a game, but that's not the point. In this situation Flores ( the maricon c*ck sucker etc.) is at least as culpable as Carroll, one gets a three match ban one gets to moan on twitter. In a very simple and basic way that isn't right, bad for the game, and demeaning to Swansea who hitherto have won nothing but admiration.
