Long term successors 10:42 - Feb 27 with 1584 viewsexiledinenglandjack

With a few of the boys getting on a bit now thing AR and LB in particular i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for long term successors, players from within or realistic signings from outside...? Purely a speculation thread, but i know a few on here like the transfer window game. BTW i think at present, Leon is still one of the most consistent players at the club, but as we've seen at times this season we need a quality successor for Angel.

Both these players played lower levels of football before making the step up to the Premier League, so why people argue Jazz Richards isn't Premier League standard when he's hardly played and when he has done he's done a good job is beyond me. He could be the answer to both.

We've been linked with Alvaro Arbeloa who was at Liverpool until recently. Behrami for Britton please!

Joe Allen should be returning in the summer

As for Rangel, switch Taylor to RB. 2 young talented fullbacks and both Welsh too.

I think it's because he can cover LB and RB. A two year contract should suffice

Joe Allen, Martin Montoya. Sorted

Right back, a solid backup striker and a new left winger should be transfer business for the summer, imo. Right back especially, as I don't think Rangel's got two seasons at the top left in him.

Wouldn't mind seeing Kyle Naughton sign up, unhappy at spurs but with decent pedigree when played, and coming into his prime
