Although tonight is possibly the worst performance this season i think slating the team is not fair, Liverpool at anfield is always tough. We were off the mark today showed patchs of what we can do but not enough composure. Liverpool pressed hard and forced mistakes. We need to assess the issues and move forward. For me today ki Gomis and Fernández did ok the rest looked tired, the worrying part was how exposed we looked through the middle from counters. Leon and Bony were non existent. Have a word garry get some rest and let's go get qpr.

Good post.

We have to credit Liverpool even if it sticks in the throat. We weren't allowed to play and were always on the back heel.

QPR next and they are no Liverpool. It's up to the team to make sure they don't make them look like them.

Agreed we let them play the game they wanted too. We were off our best that was clear but with the grueling fixture schedule it was always going to be tough to go to anfield. A cool head and some assessment and hopefully we can get the performance levels up and get 3 points in West London. Like most im disappointed however I have to credit the team and management for the best premier league campaign thus far. Important to keep confidence in the squad moving forward

While you're at it can you explain why Liverpool can run with ball or pass with pace whilst we are rooted to the spot most of the time, trying to dig the ball out looking for a hopeful pass to reach a team mate? Yeah, bad day at the office innit. Leon did okay by the way, relatively but he whole thing was a sh!t sandwich.

We've been crap there the last 3 visits, even last year's 4-3. They love playing us at home.

Agreed with possession on the ball Liverpool in lallana and couthino were very direct when they found space between our midfield and defence and it was frustrating to see. I disagree with Leon played the simple passes he is famous for but did not protect our back 4 from the counter. It's a difficult job to do with the amount of space Liverpool found however for me he was not at his best

We were better in the cup when we lost 2-1 however we have not performed well against Liverpool for some time. Maybe due to similar styles of play?

Basically they had more good players than we did, ie their good players were better than ours. We have nobody of the class of Couthino - that sums up the class divide.

Also, too many Swans had sub-par games, even my hero, Siggy was largely anonymous first half, Dyer does nothing, Routledge looked like he's got wellies on, Bony looked desperate and ineffective.

Have Dyer, especially, and Routledge watched what Montero does? Push the ball past the defender and get the ball across? Routledge does try it occasionally, Dyer hardly ever.

Fernandez was excellent - the only positive.

Thought Gomis looked lively when he came on too

What's up with Dyer? Has he forgotten how to beat a man or what? Montero and Dyer are pretty similar in the attributes they have, difference is Montero utilises his pace!

Last time I saw Dyer try to take the ball outside the fullback and get it across, was against Bradford City at Wembley. He looked a world-beater that day. Might have been something to do with the level of the opposition.

He definitely needs an in-form Rangel behind him to fire him up.
