We are not going to splash out big money on a guy 27 plus, we are going to look at someone in their early to mid 20s or a player who has not quite hit the potential and can be got for a good fee.

A transfer window wouldn't be the same without old magicdaps' musings, never mind Harry leaning out of his car window, the true sign is when daps is posting random names at will. Over the years he must have posted tens of thousands of names, and not one has ever come to fruition. Absolutely love it.

If Bony does go then we will have Gomis as our number 1 with Nelson Oliveira as back-up. We could cope with that until the end of the season if there is nobody tidy available this transfer window.

Yes losing Bony is a massive blow but i quite like our recruitment policy at the moment with a healthy pool of decent youngsters to support our senior players. Matt Grimes being the latest one. Barrow & Carroll are also knocking on the door.

The ideal scenario would be that Gomis picks up where Bony left off and starts putting the ball in the net on a regular basis, that way we have gained £30 million and not lost much.
