That I'm more confident in a misfit coming in from another club and doing well than a player that has been doing well at previous clubs.. Could be strange, but we seem to take players that have potential and haven't lived up to it and/or have never settled at a club and get them playing well.
Manager change is what keeps us up this season. We're a midfield club, Monk lost the dressing room and was devoid of any back up plan when the wheels fell off the wagon. End of.
Someone is confident of a misfit coming to our club
In reality we shouldn't be entertaining any misfits the position we're in !!
Maybe not Misfits in the unruly sense. But routs, dyer, sinclair off the top of my head (of the last few seasons) were players who never settled at teams then thrived for us JJS to an extent (did well for a period of time). Naughton as well loaned to various clubs and never did anything. They usually come in and are written off, often we see results and make profit and see them never repeat form anywhere else. This is a special club

Happy with back-up, would have preferred Danny Williams (the two options available) but I'm sure Francesco will find the player in him and that's what it's about for us. I'm hoping he'll do similar for Gomis too

I've got a feeling our Italian coaches will get our midfield creating / Gomis scoring again. Teach him offside and we're sorted!
It can go two ways. Either Fur will flourish under Guidolin or turn out to be a terrible signing, just like Ngog. If you look at our accounts and league table, there is little room for error.

Ngog wasn't a terrible signing. Eder, if he never plays for us again and signs for someone on a free in the summer after us paying 5 million for him, will be a terrible signing. Free n'gog was a completely irrelevant signing.
Nothing strange in being confident in a player. Different people see different things. Like yourself, i think this guy will be a good fit from what i remember of him. Wouldnt read too much of what Norwich/QPR fans think of him cos lets be honest, they havent exactly been consistent over the last few years and i doubt the way they play helps.
If he does turn out to be rubbish, we can always end the loan. Pretty much a no lose situation imo.
"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."
