Sian Massey-Ellis MBE 02:14 - Dec 31 with 2908 viewsGiff

Has been awarded an MBE in the New Years honours list. She was running the line in the recent Villa v Leeds game, so we may see her again soon.

Good heavens

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Swans fan as well. I'm sure she was sat in the West one game. Sitting between Monty Don and Bernie Clifton I think.

Best linesman we used to get.

Swansea City, THE Austerity Club.

Always in our hearts for the offside against Man City in the last couple of mins. Happy days.

Never knew getting old would happen so quick!

That wasn't Bernie Clifton that was Bullers best mate rod hull.
Clifton was in the NB arranging the boys for a half time sorte' in to the away end.

Nolan sympathiser, clout expert, personal friend of Leigh Dineen, advocate and enforcer of porridge swallows. The official inventor of the tit w@nk.

Of course, I'd forgotten the infamous Ostrich Offensive against the old town end. Was it against Swindon?

Wonder if she has a Welsh connection because of her name ?

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Sweet-faced Sian was born in Coventry - maybe she has a Welsh parent or grandparent.

Gutsy lass & I am pleased when I remember that the odious Andy Gray & Richard Keys were sacked by Sky after making childish sexist comments about her.

She was conceived after a magic mushroom festival near a caravan park in Prestatyn I heard.

She cemented her place in Welsh folklore by naming her son, Majid Massey Ellis as a tribute to former Glamorgan legend Roy Frederick.

Someone once told me Coventry was full of immigrants "mainly bloody Welsh and Irish". Which was nice.

Wonder if she has anything to do with the Massey-Ferguson tractor dynasty?

That maybe the case for a few names on the list. However we have Sian to thank for the down fall of the odious Andy Gray and Richard Keys.

Add in Carole Klein and I think you have it spot on.

Candlelit fish supper at one of the back tables in Macaris would be my choice.

Congratulations Sian, well deserving of an award.

If it was my decision, I would give her one!
