It's frustrating to watch us trying in vain to defend corners. On Saturday against Norwich, we seemed to have the entire team camped within the 6 yard box. This left acres of space just outside it, which was exploited and a quick pass along the ground from the corner to about 12 yards away from the goal was quickly dispatched to the back of the net. Last night, we pushed everyone outside the 6 yard box to make sure that didn't happen again. Stoke exploited this failing too in the first half. If you look at the highlights they nearly scored at the back post, before finding space at the back post on the next occasion to score. There was nobody in our six yard box other than the keeper. Defending corners is not rocket science! How difficult should it be to get it right? [Post edited 15 Feb 13:47]
