"The Swans Trust can confirm today that a further 86,806 new shares have been issued at a total value of just over £2m following fresh investment into the club. As per our statement last month this is the latest of a series of cash injections until the end of the season and has been made by Swansea Football LLC, the investment vehicle of the majority owners, which includes Chairman Andy Coleman, Jason Levien, Steve Kaplan, and Jake Silverstein."

Swansea have the tricky task of reducing wages while simultaneously improving competitiveness such that the club can compete for top 6.

Some players on big wages will have to go like Walsh who will be on decent money and low return. Naughton Allen can only be kept on low money and perhaps with the attraction of doing badges and a coaching role. It might be time for Patterson to move on unless a low deal can be done. Broome has done nothing.

It looks like Pedersen, Mykola and Jtoe a On are heading out.

The team will need younger talent on low wages. Internally Lissah, Parker, Wilson and Azeem need to step up. Possibly even Govea (who was seen at training today). Cotterill Congreve Thomas and Lloyd will have to be assessed

Wood needs a new long term contract or be sold. New sighing must be young hungry and determined or older hungry players like Will Evans.
