Im just putting up the link I never gave an opinion either way, however he has tweaked the system before, at Norwich he went with 3 at the back and two wing backs

4-3-3 clearly worked for a big chunk of the season as that was the system we played under during our unbeaten run.
Eventually and inevitably we got sussed out and the weakness for me was a lightweight midfield that lead to our defence getting too exposed.
We only have Downes who can really dominate in the middle of the pitch, unfortunately Charles looks a little lost currently.
Hence why we've looked better with three CBs to mitigate this deficiency and it allows KWP/Manning/Fraser to bomb forward with more freedom. | | | |
