What I don’t get, from what the county guy says.
Montague doesn’t have access to football radar, unless Notts C lease it to us. Can’t see why they would do that. And if they would, what’s the need for Montague if we have access to football radar?
The county guy keeps saying that Football Radar is owned by the brothers, but keeps crediting Montague with finding all these players 🤷♂️
Is it the software, or the man? Why do we need both?
It really seems like the guy is saying that RM will be successful IF County agree to lease us the program.
Seems pointless without it.
He has no football club work experience without it, does he?

The Reedtz brothers (County) are very keen to forward positive links, there’s a lot more to it than just football radar. All this would have been sorted prior to the appointment, football radar was a key entity in recruiting Montague. |  |

On your last point it seems to be a trait in Luke Williams to publicly bend the truth. On this occasions it’s pretty obvious he has. Why ? For me some people can’t understand the difference between the truth and fables. The bigger question for me is why does he do it all time ?

It does look as if Luke has given a recommendation to Coleman. Or at least a positive reference.
To be fair Coleman has interviewed others so it was not a dome deal. The chap Jennings was reported to have been interviewed.

He is head of football and also head of recruitment which has been a running problem for Swansea since Laudrup left. Marc Allen was head of football but not a recruitment guy and brought in two ex Man city guys he happened to know.
Watson was recruitment but never looked the part. Even apologising for sitting next to someone the fans did not like. | |

Needs to keep schum and concentrate on coaching the team rather than involve himself in matters that don't really concern him, he's the head coach so training his players and preparing them for match days are his duties. | |

You need to understand that Notts County do not own the software. The software is owned by Football Radar an independent company.
When I used software in engineering the experts woud say put rubbish in and get rubbish out. In that world trained people needed to understand how it worked and how to use the output.
Montague is part of the FR team. it appears that Swansea have given it a test run and come up with the Swedish player.
FR have discovered that their work can only make small rewards with small playing budget but could make lot more if it works at a higher level in the £1m -£3m range.
I suspect FR see the Swansea gig as an opportunity to project their wares at a higher level.
Andy Scott looks like a star performer finding Gyorkeres Whittaker and Piroe.
Swansea have shown that even with excellent recruitment, it is no use if the manager does not trust their judgement and prefers Cullen and Jamal Lowe. [Post edited 15 Feb 23:06]
