Considering how we went from Gagarin first man in space to Armstrong walking on the moon 8 years later, there's no doubt kids in 1975 expected a little more progress over the coming 50 years.

But, this crap costs money so...

This a few months ago impressed me as much as anything over the last 50 years (go to 2:00)
