First off England v Albania

Many Swans fans follow England. This Albanian side are no mugs.

Wales v Kazakhstan
Tomorrow.

North Walian and Irish ancestors, Celtic blood so never ever England for me

Welsh and Irish for me too.

From the south, some in the north as well

Grandfather fought for the Spanish govt in the international brigades, he saw two and a half years active service. A POW who escaped, I’ve mentioned this before. A real anarchist of those times and lived the life aggressively. No sugar coating.

Nowadays I’m out of politics, what was left is dead, and of course numerous years with UK Antifa late seventies moving into the eighties, ALF then family took over. Never forgotten or lost my roots, big hard Irish men who would knock you down dust you off and pick you back up on the streets of Mullingar. Proud of them all no matter which side of the divide they support. Life lessons from relatives who taught you how to fight and find the measure of a man, no matter the size.

None of it is for me now, same as the current Palestine’s and Israel stuff, nothing I can do to change it, so I concentrate on my family and try and affect positivity, when what matters to me is attacked I triple the response. Even now.

A brief history that unfortunately or protectively in a lot of cases ended in anger and a good old scrap. Stand your ground ye Irishmen, a favourite term of my uncle. He loved Oliver Reed, for all the wrong reasons.

Your grandfather was a hero.
That whole generation were tough as old boots, but also would do anything for you.

They would hardly ever talk about their war years but they had often seen things that are best kept private.

It was a Privilege to have known that generation, whilst growing up.

What they would think of these social media influencers and the huge population changes of recent decades is anyone’s guess. Things have certainly changed.

Standards.

Beware of the Risen People
