Funnily last night this happened Jimmy Dunne and Ryan Manning had their own meeting on the opposite touchline. 10% of these are actual injuries the rest feigned injury. Saints 1st goal it took them over 1 minute to get back for the kick off. I recall away at Villa a few years back we did the same but Pavel Wz I think ran back into our half which meant they couldn’t restart??? May have this wrong. Problem is of course a player on the scoring team will plonk himself on the deck

Touchline coaching used to be a No-No, now it seems to be part and parcel of every game played anywhere. And how many times have coaches been straying into the opposition coach's technical area this season? Soon, they'll be going as far down as the corner flag. Football today is a bloody farce.

I don't watch much football these days (other than QPR) because I find the modern game with the constant long stoppages extremely boring, but I'm even getting bored of watching QPR now because of it all

| Time outs. on 09:22 - Nov 6 with 882 views | DWQPR | One positive was that it was good to see the ref penalise their keeper with a corner kick. The more this happens the less we will see. But the injury feigning is boiling my pîss. Why is it that there now seems to be so much cramp entering the game and why does the onset of cramp only happen to players on the team that are defending the lead? Maybe the refs need to wise up a bit more and ignore this happening and only blow for assistance for players who are going down for cramp on the losing side? The cheats charter has been going on for years now ably assisted by the officials and the worst of the lot is the ‘head injury’. To avoid any doubt, anyone going down with a head injury there should be a statutory substitution and that player must not play for the next 7 days. Those with genuine head injuries will go down anyway. And finally with throw ins. Eight second rule as there is now with keepers otherwise the other side gets the throw in. It’s all so simple to do. | |

We were all over place towards end of first half and Telford manager gave the Goalkeeper a signal who then went down. Cue treatment and an impromptu team talk....opposite scored 1 minute later to go 3-1 up so that backfired but its something that is becoming more common as obviously with keeper going down, he doesn't have to go off after treatment.
