Im not questionning your integrity mate, not at all, im just saying its not true ! Like, surely not ? There must be a commercial reason for this if the club has dont this, and an explanation. My best pal in work sold some old record stuff on ebay to get his 3 game ticket, money is tight.

This sounds like an insult to true fans who have paid hard earned cash for tickets. What gaurantee is there the the recipiants of the "freebies" wont just sell them on for a reduced price?
I would not object to giving away surplus tickets to school kids, but DVLA employees? WTF! Seems like a real "kick in the teeth" to the real fans.  |  | | |

This is the straw that broke the camel's back for me! Premier league on the pitch and FAW off the pitch! As people have mentioned I don't mind them trying to fill the stadium but giving away free tickets to the DVLA or any other public sector business is shocking.
I was about to purchase my ticket at £30 last week but my nephew came home with a letter saying that through his school we could have tickets for £20 adults and £10 for a child.
Why didn't they just do the £10 for adults and kids for a £1 if they wanted to encourage youngsters.
I have now spent £73 in total on the 3 Europa League games. Whilst any old Tom Dick or Harry that works at the DVLA could have seen all 3 games for free if they knew someone who had paid full price for the first 2 matches! [Post edited 22 Nov 2013 13:33]
