Sorry, but I read somewhere on here recently that Smiffy had passed away. Was this the guy who was involved in an accident and used to post a bit before he was in the accident? When and how did he pass?

his daughter posted the sad news in the week prior to the final. didn't go into the specifics but i got the impression it was still ongoing stuff linked to the accident.

very sad loss to this place but more importantly to his family & closer friends.
