Not sure if it's just me, but we won a couple of free-kicks yesterday about 15-20 yards into their half and for some reason we decided against flighting the free kick into their box. Instead of that we just passed the ball sideways, almost as if the free kick was not needed.
It's a minor moan as I thought we did very well, but just surprised that on the few occasions we could have got some people forward to create a chance we decided against it. At the time I was wondering whether we had decided against committing too many people forward. I think the other free kicks we had failed to clear the first man so that might have had something to do with it.

Better than hitting the first man every over time...
Observed and thought the same thing. I also thought that for set pieces we should have put Nedum forward to add some height and muscle. Adel's set pieces yesterday however were woeful, usually failing to make it past the 1st man.
