Just watched his press conference and he must have been watching a different game to the one I saw. Surprised, he usually talks a lot of sense and is very straight forwards.

I was surprised by how poor they were, was expecting a lot more. They were completely direct and one dimensional for me. Their best chances came from our own mistakes.
Agreed, McCarthy claimed Ipswich should have had "more than a point" (paraphrase - sorry) - from this game. I only remember Green making one proper save whereas Loach had to perform heroics. Whilst possession was roughly equal - if it's calculated in terms of time then Ipswich probably wasted a good ten minutes of it in the hope of using up the ninety minutes and hanging on for an undeserved point. A shame because I've always regarded McCarthy as one of the more honest managers
