is that fair play??
the rules were meant to help clubs but to compete you must spend, must pay the current wage and offer long contracts or go down.
so here's my thought....why would any rich owner invest in any club, where they can't spend to improve the team, go up and be a top team, develop the ground over time and comply with fair play??
maybe this has all been said before so sorry but, it's a catch 22
qpr were in admin, for ages....we prayed for a rich owner to get us to respectability again....that new owner talked of europe not the fans.
down the line, new owners have tried to keep the club competitive as some cost to themselves and the club....would fining us £50m solve anything? would docking mass points?? all it does is relegate us and we face admin again....cos the owners will surely walk away and the new ground goes with them.
