Well made documentary obviously repeated in the week we lost Cyrillic Regis. Poignant hearing/seeing him talk about what him and fellow pros had to go through just for being dark skinned. |
Aye, horrific.
Two laugh out loud moments, when Batson was getting abuse from the front row and turned and said 'What did you call me'? before climbing into the crowd and battering the bloke. And Cunninghams girl friend telling him to leave it as 3 blokes started on him near a take away before he turned on them and beat up the three of them, one of them then recognising him and saying 'leave it, it's Laurie Cunningham.'
