Basically if you sell a player like Armstrong the entire fee, regardless of how it's paid goes straight on this years account If you sign a player then the cost is spread over the length on the contract. So, in theory, a £2m sale could get you five £2m players on 5 year contracts. Plus this season a lot of players were released ,extra Sky money and a slight increase in FFP.
