He should have walked after he sold us out, any credibility he had left when he sold his soul to the almighty dollar yet he still stayed and took his 600k pa, even when he cut thar in half following our relegation it was still 300k more than he deserved. He presided over several useless transfer windows and sat then and fiddled while Rome burned. We are in a terrible situation that may get worse but we have been at rock bottom before and turned it round, let’s hope we can do it again. |

Stephenson Road, that’s where the club believe him to be living. |

Come on people we are Swansea City not 1970 Brazil, as long as we are better than 3 other teams in this division we'll be OK and I'm convinced we can be at least that. To say we are doomed after 180 minutes of league football is what I'd expect from a nob like Savage not from members of the Jackarmy. The lack of atmosphere at the lib is something I agree with tho and that is NOTHING to do with the players......its down to us. STID |

Not aimed at you at all, and I appreciate you taking time to respond to my post. The phrase 'rabble rousing' may well have been taken out of context, but, I mean it can be a them and us type situation and that is not beneficial to anyone at all. I just wish that the media were prepared to print the facts rather than an edited version of the events as they see it. Journalism is to produce the facts not an opinion of what they want to see happening. I have already had it confirmed to me that the local media have been given a clear indication of what they can 'report' and bearing in mind we are a 1 paper city it is clear they do not want to ujrinate on their pommes frites as regards getting further scoops. No one objects to people making money, but, £50,000 returning in excess of £10,000,000 in 13 years is the type of investment that turns anyone's heads even those who have done very nicely thank you from the club they have represented for 13 years. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. |

The vitriol being displayed on this forum is completely understandable based on what is currently known. 'We' thought we were all in it together, but, once the £ signs appear peoples priorities change and their own nests need to be feathered. Lets not get caught up in the rabble rousing of sound bites shown in the local press by speakers at the trusts meeting last night either, this same individual has personally profited from the clubs success directly over the last 13 years without criticising the current board when it benefited him, whilst openly sharing his 'ITK' status with all that were keen to listen. This is not a dig at the trust or the board it is merely stating what has happened. Everyone cares about what happens to the club, whether that is the current board, the trust fans, players and staff alike so my question is :- Do we need additional investment YES/NO? If NO how will we continue to advance whilst buying stadium, expanding the stadium and improving the squad ? if YES what form should that investment take and how can we expect people to 'invest' without someone else turning a profit? We are all hoping for the best, lets just stick together and get behind the club whichever direction it takes, after all we will still be here. |

Bang on, Paloschi offered nowt, and ANY striker would struggle to score in our team at present due to the lack of pace we put into our attacks. Barrow and Fer changed the game today and Gomis worked the centre halves more in 8 mins the Alberto did in 45. Hey ho, let's get to the summer in this league and we can attempt to fix the issues. |

Great post Darren, it's just symptomatic of the original poster to be a glass half empty kinda guy regardless of us securing 3 precious points we've collected today, it's easy to criticise Gomis at times but today wasn't one of those times. Perchy is the classic 'keyboard warrior', someone who hardly watches his team but deems it fit to dig out his own players with out being there to give a critical appraisal. He really is exactly the kind of fan we don't need in a dogfight, we need support for the squad rather than odious, inane unqualified criticism. |
| Forum Reply | Swansea just haven't got the desire, intelligence pace or bottle for the fight. at 08:04 14 Feb 2016
How anyone watching yesterday can say we played well or are up for the fight amazes me. Ayew is a passenger when played wide, we have shoehorned him into the team for too long either play him up front or not at all. Cork is too ponderous on the ball, time and time again he takes 3 touches when 1 will do, he has a touch of the Shaun Chappells about him. Alberto looks like an £8m Bauza and Taylor.....don't get me started on this clown, can't defend, can't attack, it shows how bad Frankie Tabs must have been if he couldn't get in our team instead of him, he is stealing a living as probably the worst full back in the PL. Apart from that all is rosy, enjoy Valentine's Day people, 💋 |

Because the majority of council bods are more concerned about 2 things, either 'what's in it for me' or I want to create a legacy to be remembered by ie the Kingsway development 10 yrs ago that has now been proved to be a crock of.... |

Let's see if your vast knowledge of the inner workings of SCFC comes to fruition then. I'm assuming you've beaten a path to the bookies to lump on, or are you using a names in the hat technique to increase your post count? |

What players have said they want anyone, you must be one of the ITK crew |

Ive heard it's a NO for JDG (disruptive in the dressing room apparently) but it's a YES for SS11. |

Curt has been hung out to dry by a pathetic managerial chase perpetuated by a chairman who didn't have a plan B and as always is trying do everything on the cheap. The premier league has teeth and will come back to bite you on the backside if you scrimp, Mike Ashley has found that out once hence why he is chucking money at the problem now. I hope we haven't left it too late to put a sustained run together. |

I wonder whether the directors have a relegation clause in their contracts? |
| Forum Reply | Doumbia or bony at 18:31 16 Jan 2016
Our scouting network must be made up of Boy Scouts, all they've done is regurgitate old players and waste monies on players who have not strengthened the squad. I know GM said last summer he wanted 2 players for all positions, but surely he meant for them to be competitive against each other rather than have an average one in the team I.e. Taylor and a p!ss poor one in the squad Tabanou. We need to buy now, not on 31st, we've already hamstrung AC by not financially supporting him in the last 2 weeks, let's not let it drag on for another 2 weeks. |
