| Forum Reply | Have you ever left early... at 12:30 12 Nov 2024
Hadn't really ever left early until under Ainsworth, Luton (H), Blackburn (H) etc. and a couple recently like Middlesborough (H). The one I definitely do NOT regret is leaving Brighton (A) early with that b*stard 2 coach train from Falmer. I think we were 3-0 down at the time and lost 4-0. |

Brilliant as always Clive, Thanks for doing these. I have to say that is the least I've ever celebrated a Rangers goal. Just knew that Boro would start playing again and run through us with ease. Thought their timewasting was embarrassing and utterly pointless, thought they would want to get 6 or 7 an embarrass us rather than embarrassing themselves. Dieng was laughing, getting dogs abuse and laughing about how great of a career move he made to get away from this Shitshow. Also had major headloss then just accepted it and sat staring blankly at the patch of green in front of me, waste of all of our time and money watching this lot ponce about with 0 effort given. Enjoy Leeds |

I think some of it's down to "I will be gutted if I miss this 1 home win (a season)" Pretty much the reason I keep going. Got a ST. Maybe today will be the day, then it never is. But it will be against Stoke, because I'm not going. |

They could start with 8 and beat us comfortably. But I'm missing Stoke at home which is when Marti got his first win last season and will probably happen again because I'm not going. |

I can't see us getting a backs to the wall point with the way the defence is currently playing, will probably just check the score at FT. Comfortable home win. But we WILL beat Sunderland or Middlesbrough next week, based on absolutely nothing other than pure hope. |

Thought he was onside at the time and still think so after watching it again. It's probably a more difficult chance than I gave it credit for on live viewing. Couldn't generate the power but a nice move nonetheless and a great run from Lucas. Really could have done with that going in. |

Our last home win was Friday night on TV. Our last win was Friday night on TV. We appear to be doing the reverse of the Friday night curse now and only winning on Friday night on Sky. |

Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke....... I enjoyed a Sunday without a loss. Because the Saints had already lost thursday night... |

If JCS is back, draw. If not, loss. Really hoping someone will have one of those Luke Freeman against Leeds performances. Just write the theme tune and sing the theme tune. Maybe it will be Madsen |

We're winning. Out the traps early, score and then score again - Dembele to have a blinder with the focus on Chair. Let them back into it at 2-1 (because it's rangers), get a third on the counter, Thank you goodnight, much love. |

I went to Chesham, first time visit actually. Was great! Hoping that 1st round match isn't Saturday at 3 so I can head over again! |

Yep absolutely done with the jags. They do not need 2 games here. Fine with the Wembley one. With prices and the same teams every year I didn't renew my season tickets - first time I haven't been to an NFL game in 10 years, covid aside. Will save to go to New Orleans or wait until they come to Europe (which is more likely with the Germany and soon Madrid games). Defo going towards a 16 game stateside season and at least 1 international game for every team. |
| Forum Reply | Marti - the right man to correct this at 14:15 7 Oct 2024
The midfield was the same earlier in the season, Colback and Field. Then cards and injuries happened, we shouldn't be relying on a 34, nearly 35 year old Colback to add steel to the midfield. The only real option we have is adding Varane/Colback next to Field with Madsen infront of them but not as a 10 so drop Andersen or a "winger", so would be a 4-2-1-2-1 (trying not to get too technical) but that makes you even more narrow. Failing that you go 3 CBs - Fox-Cook-Dunne or ideally Fox-Cook-JCS (whoever prefers being on the right). Santos was supposed to be a RWB right? |

I agree, he is absolutely the right man for the job however he does need to be questioned. Some of the recent tactics are baffling. Like not starting to attack until already behind (see Millwall at home - 1 attack, 1 goal), the insistence on going backwards to go forwards and how incredibly dull that is. The desire of his team to fight, tackle and win headers. What happened to the team against WBA at home last year, or Leeds? Lots of the players are the same. Including (until recently due to JCS injury) the back 4. The same back 4 that were solid at the end of the last campaign. I'm all for giving players time to settle into a new league/country but Andersen for one has had that time and is a shadow of the player he was in April last season. This two weeks is crucial to get these players up for the back-to-back home games against struggling teams, no more waiting, the time is now. |

Brilliant game, Lamar was electric. The bengals blew it though. Settling for a field goal from 50+ when they should have been more aggressive. Ravens gift wrapped a win there. More games like that please. |

Whilst I agree that we shouldn't be punting it forward to Celar to win flick-ons, He also always plays the man rather than the ball. He doesn't look for the ball, just looks straight at the defender, mis timing his jumps or giving away a freekick. Once he gets a goal I can see him coming good, the sooner the better. So many pointless crosses to no one last night. The pass to Jude was a personal highlight however. |
| Forum Reply | Hull Reflection at 09:28 2 Oct 2024
I said when the team was announced that it was wrong. The front 3 offer 0 support to the defence and with a midfield that already gets bypassed it was a recipe for disaster. Andersen isn't the same player as last season and Santos isn't a RB. Were Celar's boots on the wrong feet? Looks like we are relying on JCS to play every minute and Jack Colback to be our saviour in the middle, doesn't bode well. We came flying out of the blocks in both halves but failed to take chances, again and conceded the same first goal, again. I don't know what the solution is but right now it looks like we will have to drop an attacking player for another man in the middle and try to keep it at 0. Two big games coming up next. I'm getting seriously sick of being so crap at home, left a few mins early last night (93). The only other time I did that, under Ainsworth..... |

I am still in shock at how well the Saints are playing. And I'm loving it. Just booked by flights for the home superbowl |
