RIP Kyle, Great young man with the world ahead of him. Thoughts go to his family and the boys that came back on the train this morning without him. Tragic |

Huge Heroin problem up there and with that comes guns, Liverpool pretty much supplies all of South Wales with Heroin. You’ve only got to look at major drug busts involving heroin round this area it always comes from Liverpool. Went up there on a martial arts course and the guy running it was quite well known up that way, he was alright really but made plenty of money from dealers up that way in the past. He did a anti guns campaign then went to jail years later for carrying a gun. Strange |

Just down the road from me so lucky. My Dad used to work at the ammunation base, he's how i found out about the German plane that was forced to land on the airfield there. The pilot tried his best to blow up the plane but didn't get the chance. A friend of mine was on community sevice there digging out a pond and come across a unexploded bomb, the bomb disposal team came from somewhere in England. When they got there they had a look and asked who found it? My mate explained he was helping dig a area for a pond, the army disposal guy said is the boss here? No my mate said he's gone to phone his Boss. No worries i'll help you with this pond now, he told my mate to get back to a safe distance and basically blew the bomb which cleared an area much to my mates dissapointment as he thought the hole would be big enough for the pond so he could go home. |

The miners were treated like crap to be fair, my dad knew a copper that worked on the lines and he said they used to laugh at how desperate the miners were.... It's strange though that all these years later the goverment treat the police in a similar way to how they treated the miners. To enjoy watching proud men literally fight for the jobs and families future is just sick. |

They were really popular in the 70s I was told growing up with quite a few bands from Swansea playing there. It got mentioned last night that their thinking of starting them up again, they stopped them because of all the fighting that was going on. Great venue if they pull it off. I’m trying to find out names of the bands from Swansea that played there? |

Should have learnt from last seasons antics but they ain’t. We should be well adrift at the bottom, but we’re not and there’s always hope but we got to help ourselves..... |

If we get relegated the club will have to sell most of the players and looking at the likes of Sunderland and others who have made the drop it ain’t going to be easy to come back up. My opinion is the board won’t lose any sleep if we go down, sale of players, payments from Prem etc etc. We’re going to hear of all the so called hardwork put in behind the scenes to get new players in and we’ll end up with nothing. And not even a fight to stay up. Some of the board have always brought up the Jack to King tales and taken all the praise at the time. But what about holding their hands up with signings like a Clucas, Baston etc. A lot of money spent and nobody owning up to the failures. On a positive though we’re not out of it yet, I honestly feel that a few great signings and we can pull it off. But no urgency from the club to get things done to give us a chance. This is heartbreaking that the club won’t even put up a fight. [Post edited 16 Jan 2018 14:42]

While in Sydney I spent the afternoon with a guy called Larry Page, he was the producer of the Kinks and the Troggs. He also produced and I think wrote Chelsea’s blue is the colour. But he has a soft spot for the Swans, his family are from the Mumbles and I’m sure he said he was one of 7 brothers. When he moved to Sydney he did a lot of work with the Easy Beats and Harry Vanda. Really interesting guy to talk to. I had to ask him his views on Brian Johnson taking over from Bon Scott? His opinion was they made the best match they could have made. And George and Malcolm Young had both told him they couldn’t have picked better. |

Went to Burleigh Street, Burwood yesterday to see the Young’s family home, incredible to think of the talent that came from that tiny house. Still flowers being laid for Malcolm, surprised how many people were there also. The biggest shock was going to the Albert recording studios and seeing Angus’s school uniform, it was tiny and I’m sure a boy of 11 would fit in it. So glad a grew up on AC/DC..... |

Well put that, when you say set family up for life i can't see many if any not doing it to be fair. Still don't understand the tweets though. |

I've only spoken to him twice and that was for the trip away. A few years ago I thought he was great having been one of the ones that did pump money in, but the way it was done regarding selling out stunk. Read earlier on here about his tweets and thought how has it got to this with him trying to wind up fans?? Strange how the ones that helped the club out are the same ones that have ruined it. So as a Swans fan I don't think much of any of them. |

Is this a recent thing? Because I was out there last October. |

Going by what I seen of the guys at the bar that day he wouldn't be safe in Holland let alone The Hague. 100% with you on this one, he wouldn't do it to them though? Would he??? If the price is right and all that |

They love him out there and in a sort of respect to JVZ way that's why they took everything Swansea off the walls. Strange how it went really because we walked in and ordered drinks which were slammed on the bar, asked where the toilets were? Got told can't use them. Then the guy I knew from The Hague walked in and spoke to us, he went to buy us drinks and came back with the barman who asked me did I know anyone else from there. So I said no but I spoke to John before coming. He then returned with tray of drinks and said he had just spoke to John and said we were to be looked after. From there we didn't buy a drink all night. We stayed in Rotterdam and had Swansea gear on and people were shouting Swansea and asking us about the Swans and why we're we in Holland? Even had 2 coppers on train singing Swansea songs. From my experience he's like a God out there. |

What type of reception do the Den Haag fans get when they come over now? When I went out there this time last here we were treated really well by the locals, until we went to the stadium. Had a drink in the supporters home outside the stadium and got a very frosty reception at first. Then a guy walked over I had meet in Swansea once and Wembley recognised me and we starting talking. I asked about the Swansea flags and he told me that JVZ was having a tough time from Swansea fans so they took everything Swansea down. When the barman found out that I had spoke to John before going it all changed, didn't have to pay for beer that night and they looked after my nephew with food and soft drink. Personally I don't see any issue with them coming over, maybe some of them have supported the Swans longer than quite a few who have season tickets now. But it could be done differently. |
