I've just got off the phone with Dave and he definitely isn't his usual cheery self so we may not be seeing him at HQ for a while. He is till having quite a few tests done and will be in hospital for a while yet. He is going to get the printers to send the mags to my house and I will make sure they are on sale at the Cardiff home game, not the Stoke away game. I know some people only like to buy from Dave but if you can just make an exception for this issue he will be very grateful. There's a fair chance it may be the last one for the season as Dave needs to get himself better before embarking on the task of collating a new issue. I passed on the well wishes from here too so he knows he's loved. |

There is a new edition, and if Dave is agreeable, I will, with the help of Cheshire R, try to get the mag in place for the Stoke game. I'm sure Dave was gutted we couldn't get it to the Leeds game but it would such a a waste if we couldn't get at least a few boxes sold. |

IIRC the referees are marked by the clubs after games and I think it is 1 point for wearing the correct attire, another point for knowing the rules and the rest up to 10 based on perception of their performance. A score of 3 or fewer meant a hearing to explain the reason for the low score and this is where the clubs themselves could affect the future of timewasting.
Whether they are willing to or not is something that could be affected by good fan pressure, fan forum meetings, emails to the club / PGMOL etc. It's a thorny subject and from what we have seen with attempts to tackle this issue seem to be a draconian clampdown for a month or so then back to the status quo. The new permitted time to hold on to the ball by a GK will go the same way I feel. |

I have never bought food or alcohol at games so I may be wrong here, but aren't the refreshment outlets contracted out so the club is getting a fixed amount per season irrespective of sales? |

I still own 2 out of three of those, never really liked Lumpy Gravy that much but have 2 or 3 Zappa albums and my Ptooof!!! album is a fairly rare Mono recording. |
